What we're looking for

You have at least a completed MBO+ education, preferably in a financial direction.
You have experience within Credit Control, accounts receivable management, or a similar financial function.

You are result-oriented and are not easily discouraged.
You work accurately and maintain an overview.
You like to take responsibility, work proactively, and have a strong sense of ownership.
You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Experience with Trust IT or similar Credit Management Systems is a plus.

What you'll do

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible, together with the Credit Control team, for the active management of Securitas's accounts receivable portfolio. You ensure that outstanding invoices are paid on time, identify risks, and maintain contact with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

You will be working in a dynamic environment in which the Shared Service Center is fully in development. Through the harmonization of processes, further collaboration between teams, and the focus on continuous improvement, you will get the opportunity to actively contribute to the further professionalization of the Credit Control organization.

Your duties are varied and challenging and consist of, among other things:

Managing the accounts receivable portfolio of key accounts.
The active follow-up of outstanding invoices and payment arrears.
Maintaining telephone and written contact with customers regarding outstanding items.
Identifying, assigning, and following up on disputes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Monitoring payment agreements and following up on payment arrangements.
Preparing and guiding files towards collection partners.
Monitoring credit risks and identifying potential payment problems.
Analyzing and reporting on outstanding items and arrears.
Maintaining contacts with Account Management, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance.
Contributing to improvement initiatives within Credit Control and the Shared Service Center.
Working with credit management software, ERP systems, and reporting tools.

In this versatile role, you are the link between customer, operations, and finance, and you contribute directly to a healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships.
