The role
What happens when you bring strategic customer partnership, technology, service delivery, and development together in one role? Then you get a position in which you can truly make a difference for Centric's largest retail customers.
As Client Service Director you are the driving force behind the success of our most important customer relationships. You understand the customer's business, think strategically, and ensure that ambitions are translated into concrete results. You connect people, manage quality and progress, and maintain control over both service delivery and financial performance.
What you'll do
As Client Service Director, you are responsible for the total success of your customer relationships. You are the strategic partner for large retail customers and ensure that customer needs, service delivery, projects, and commercial objectives converge. You oversee the whole picture, connect the right people, and take charge when necessary. From strategic advice and customer satisfaction to operational progress and financial results: you ensure cohesion, control, and results.
Strategic customer partnership: you build sustainable relationships with large retail customers and act as their partner at executive and management levels. You understand their strategy, challenges, and ambitions and translate these into concrete solutions and opportunities.
Control over service delivery: you monitor the quality, continuity, and performance of service delivery in the area of hardware and services. You ensure that agreements are met and that the service delivery aligns with the customer's expectations.
Program management and project leadership: you maintain an overview of multiple projects, programs, and improvement initiatives. You monitor cohesion, planning, progress, risks, and results, and ensure that involved teams work together toward the same goal.
Customer satisfaction and escalation management: you identify bottlenecks before they escalate, take charge when matters stall, and ensure clear agreements and follow-up. You translate customer feedback into structural improvements.
Collaboration and stakeholder management: you connect the customer with the various teams within Centric, including delivery, project management, technology, commerce, and finance. You create clarity regarding priorities, responsibilities, and results, and address stakeholders where necessary.
Financial responsibility and forecasting: you monitor the financial performance of your accounts, including revenue, margins, costs, and contractual agreements. You ensure an up-to-date and reliable forecast, analyze deviations, and adjust based on developments in service delivery, projects, and customer needs.
Commercial development and growth: you identify opportunities to expand the collaboration with additional hardware, services, and solutions. You translate customer needs into concrete propositions and business cases and work together with commercial colleagues on sustainable growth and return.
Continuous improvement and looking ahead: you look critically at the collaboration, processes, and service delivery. You initiate improvements, advise on future needs, and ensure that Centric continues to develop as a strategic partner to the customer.
What you bring
You are an experienced professional who combines customer orientation, strategic insight, and result orientation. You understand that large retail customers demand more than good account management. You must know their business, be able to oversee complex service delivery, and be capable of connecting people, processes, projects, and financial objectives.
You take ownership, maintain an overview when interests diverge, and dare to make decisions when adjustment is needed. You move easily at the executive level, but also have an eye for daily practice and know how to translate plans into concrete results.
