For the vacancy of environmental manager, we are looking for a professional who is responsible for the various environmental pillars, including stakeholder management, traffic management, communication, conditioning, traffic, and public and private law permits.

You have a coordinating, directing, and advisory role for the benefit of the environmental aspects, and depending on the demand from the project, various aspects will come up in the work of an environmental manager:

• You manage construction communication, complaints and reports, damages, third-party K&L, monitoring, ecology, OCE, archaeology, environment, traffic and incident management for roads and shipping, construction logistics, social safety, permits and (private) permissions;
• You inventory (conflicting) interests of stakeholders, map out related risks, and translate stakeholder requirements into creative and workable solutions fitting within the frameworks of the contract and project budget;
• You create support within the environment for the project and the circumstances, you ensure that agreements are met, signal shortcomings, and anticipate them towards the project organization;
• You represent the project team and safeguard the project's interests towards the environment, and ensure that information from the outside is secured within the project organization;
• You are responsible for a consistent communication policy towards stakeholders, and coordinate activities at the administrative and official levels (directly or indirectly via the client depending on contract conditions);
• You are responsible for setting up a 24/7 reporting point for questions, damage reports, and service requests;
• You advise the project manager regarding environmental matters, are responsible for the budget, and coordinate environmental matters with, among others, the technical manager (timeliness of design in relation to permits, verification & validation of stakeholder requirements) and (head) site manager (aligning execution planning with the environment);
