Fascinated by locks, bridges, and tunnels, large projects, and automation? As a project manager, you are responsible for the planning, execution, and follow-up of all activities required for the realization of technically complex challenges. You lead the project team, with a view to achieving the preset project objectives within the preset contribution margins and deadlines.

• You work in project teams where specific knowledge is utilized that leads to clear added value for the project
• You handle the scope definition and impact analysis to obtain a clear picture of the needs and the objectives to be achieved
• You draw up all necessary budgets and project plans (timing, allocation of resources, …) in order to realize the desired project within the predetermined timing and budget
• You monitor all aspects of the project so that the project meets the organizational requirements, the methodology, and the quality and safety standards
• You actively build your relationship with the client and with the subcontractors and suppliers
• You handle all administrative, commercial, and if necessary, legal aspects of your project, with special attention to the invoicing plan and payment follow-up
• Your thorough knowledge of the contract allows you to react alertly to changes and adjustments
• You ensure that safety requirements are respected in the projects for which you are responsible, according to our guidelines and those of the client
• You maintain contact with other departments to guarantee the continuity of the projects
• You have an eye for other commercial opportunities which you may develop in collaboration with the sales/business development department
• You ensure active information dissemination and feedback with a view to improving the project methodology and quality
• You ensure the drafting and execution of an acceptance plan and ensure final delivery through adequate follow-up of outstanding items
• You functionally manage project engineers, managers, and subcontractors in larger project teams
• You initiate commercial opportunities and development in collaboration with the sales/business development department to achieve a win-win situation with the clients
• You report to the Project Director.
