(Senior) Strategy Consultant

As a Senior Strategy Consultant at BearingPoint, you will lead a multidisciplinary team or participate in challenging assignments for a wide range of clients across various sectors, such as Consumer Goods & Retail, Automotive, Energy & Utilities, Banking & Capital Markets, Post, and Telecommunications. We are looking for professionals with a strong analytical background and experience in one of the following roles: strategic advisory, corporate strategy, (investment) analyst, M&A, or a similar function.

For our Amsterdam office, we are looking for professionals with experience in (top-line) strategy, strategy execution, strategic transformations, and/or Innovation and Business Model Design. You possess excellent analytical skills and want to apply your quantitative expertise for various clients in diverse sectors.

Furthermore, the role includes:

Leadership and team development You build an expert team around you and take the lead in projects.

Strategic project realization You perform complex quantitative analyses, analyze market size, create business cases, develop scenario models, and perform financial impact analyses.

Strategic innovation You develop new strategic business models, design target operating models, translate analyses into insights, and prepare management presentations.

Facilitation and stakeholder management You facilitate workshops, perform strong project and stakeholder management, and work closely with clients on their business strategies.

Transformation and innovation You advise on the development and integration of innovative concepts and technologies, identify client needs, and translate these into new projects.

End-to-end responsibility You lead client trajectories from concept to realization, coach junior colleagues, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Background and experience Preferably a consultancy background or similar role with strong analytical skills and a minimum of 4 years of work experience.

Education A relevant master's degree, preferably with an economic/business focus or technical specialization.

Strategic expertise Experience with strategic and quantitative issues, such as market sizing, business value casing, scenario modeling, financial impact analysis, business model innovation, and target operating model design.

Strategic insight Strong commercial insight to translate strategic direction into concrete changes and to take ownership of end-to-end project trajectories.

Project management Proven project management skills and experience in successfully completing complex assignments.

Communication skills Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (oral and written).
