Pay & benefits

What you'll get

  • a salary of € 4,337 gross per month on a full-time basis from the moment of employment, and at the start of the second and third internship years, a salary of € 4,736 and € 5,172 gross per month on a full-time basis respectively; and

The role

In this position, you will be part of the Employment Law section, consisting of ten lawyers and two assistants who work closely together and share a passion for employment law. Our Employment Law section operates at the top of the market, as confirmed by the rankings in The Legal 500 and Chambers Europe.

Our employment law lawyers guide employers in reorganizations, works council processes, collective labor agreement negotiations, equal treatment cases, acquisitions, and individual employment disputes. They also litigate extensively in large-scale and often high-profile appeals and cassation cases. This goes hand in hand with an informal working atmosphere where there is plenty of laughter.

As a trainee lawyer within our employment law section, you will get the chance to work across the full breadth of employment law practice. Together with ambitious colleagues, you will translate complex employment law issues into clear and practical advice and strategies that align with the specific wishes of our clients.

In this role, you will be actively guided by experienced employment law lawyers while simultaneously being given the space to quickly take on your own responsibility. You will be encouraged to develop yourself within employment law and challenged to get the best out of yourself!

Our offer

  • a flying start to your career as a lawyer at a large and professional firm with a good reputation and high rankings (including The Legal 500, PropertyNL, and Chambers);

  • the shared goal to develop you within three years into an independent associate lawyer;

  • a section rotation after one and a half years, allowing you to be trained broadly and discover what you are good at;

  • good individual training and development opportunities, including through our BK Academy;

  • a workspace in an office with one of our (more experienced) lawyers and good facilities to work from home;

  • an informal working environment with many fun office activities, such as team outings, Thursday afternoon drinks, office parties, and a winter sports weekend;
