This will be your job
As a mechanical engineering project coordinator, you are involved in our installation technology projects from preparation through to completion. You work closely with the project manager, engineers, and modelers, translating technology into tight organization.

You ensure that projects keep running. You smartly coordinate planning, logistics, and procurement, and you communicate continuously with colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors. You recognize risks early and adjust before they have an impact. Does a challenge arise anyway? Then you come up with a practical and feasible solution. At the same time, you keep clients and other stakeholders well-informed, with clear communication regarding expectations, choices, and progress.

You primarily work on building-related utility projects with diverse technical issues. From sustainable climate installations to complex mechanical engineering systems. One time you coordinate multiple projects side by side, the next time you focus on a large and technically challenging multi-million project. Whatever the project may be: you keep a sharp eye on planning, budget, quality, and safety. Together with your team, you ensure a final result that stands like a house.

Your department within Dura Vermeer falls within the project organization and fulfills an important role in tendering processes. With your knowledge and skills, we can make a difference in the market and contribute to the future. You will work at our office in Utrecht, naturally in a hybrid capacity. Here, we work on challenging installation technology projects. The team is ambitious and energetic and has an extraordinary interest in new technologies and innovative solutions. The team consists of experienced professionals who are challenged and involved in the planning of construction projects.

• You have work experience within building-related installation technology completed your education in the direction of mechanical engineering.

• You enjoy thinking ahead and turn problems into solutions.

• You enjoy challenges and complex projects.

• The salary for this position is between €3961 and €5694 gross per period* (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience. 

• A contract for an indefinite period immediately, with the intention of entering into a long-term collaboration;

• 38 vacation days in accordance with the Cao Metaal en Techniek;
