Development Planner

• A completed HBO or WO degree in Civil Engineering, Building Services Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or a similar technical field;

• Experience as a development planner within a construction company;

• Experience with complex development processes, preferably inner-city projects;

• You are strong in conceptual thinking and know how to translate ideas into practical and feasible solutions;

• You get energy from collaborating and know how to bring different interests together;

• You are analytically strong and have an eye for quality, risks, and commercial opportunities;

• You take ownership, show initiative, and get people on board with your vision;

• You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week.

• Salary from € 4,349 to € 6,212 gross per 4 weeks (€ 4,711 to € 6,729 gross per month) based on full-time employment;

• In addition to your salary, you receive a fixed amount for sustainable employability that contributes to staying healthy (2.3% according to cao Bouw & Infra);

• 43 days off according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

• You can choose between an electric lease car or using your own car, for which you will receive a fixed allowance and a mileage allowance;

As a Development Planner at Hurks, you are involved from the very first ideas in the most beautiful and challenging construction projects. You bring together vision, technique, and feasibility, ensuring that plans become reality. From complex inner-city developments to ground-bound residential and utility projects: you provide direction to the design phase and ensure that projects are technically, financially, and organizationally strongly prepared. In doing so, you are given the space to think along, take initiative, and apply your knowledge and creativity.

In your role, you are the key connecting factor in the design process. You manage this process from the first concept through to construction preparation and continuously monitor the balance between quality, feasibility, planning, and budget. You translate ambitions and designs into concrete, buildable plans, actively think along about smart solutions, identify opportunities, and bring risks into view at an early stage.

Your activities include, among other things, making projects possible and realizing them, managing and guiding the design process, and developing designs into feasible plans. Additionally, you draw up plan tests and risk analyses, monitor budgets, quality, and planning, and think along about innovative and sustainable solutions. You work intensively with clients, advisors, governments, and partners, and ensure a smooth handover towards execution.
