Salary from € 4,000.- to € 5,500.- gross per 4 weeks (€ 4,300.- to € 5,900.- gross per month) based on full-time employment;

As a Verification & Validation Coordinator at Ballast Nedam, you ensure that complex infrastructural projects demonstrably meet contractual, technical, and legal requirements. In this role, you are responsible for organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the verification and validation process throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the tender phase to delivery.
At the intersection of design, execution, and project control, you bring various disciplines together. By providing structure to processes, requirements, and evidence, a reliable and transparent quality dossier is created. Timely assessment moments, conclusive administration, and clear reports form the basis for successful project realization.
With your analytical eye and attention to detail, you ensure that systems, processes, and installations are not only realized according to specification but also actually function as intended. In doing so, you make a direct contribution to the quality, safety, and reliability of the infrastructure of tomorrow.
Realizing quality is important; making quality demonstrable is essential. In this role, you provide the connection between requirements, design, execution, and delivery. Thanks to your management, project teams and clients have access to insightful and reliable evidence, allowing projects to be realized in a controlled, safe, and successful manner. In this way, you make a visible contribution to infrastructural projects that keep the Netherlands accessible and future-proof.
Specifically, you will be involved in:
Drafting, managing, and monitoring verification and validation plans;
Coordinating verification and validation activities during the design, realization, testing, and delivery phases;
Collecting, assessing, and recording evidence to demonstrably prove compliance with requirements;
Identifying, analyzing, and reporting deviations, risks, and outstanding actions within the V&V process;
Monitoring the progress and quality of verification and validation dossiers and reporting on these to project management and clients;
Aligning with design teams, execution, project control, quality management, and external stakeholders to ensure an integrated quality process;
Supporting project teams in applying systems engineering and demonstrably meeting project requirements;
Contributing to the further development and professionalization of verification and validation processes within Ballast Nedam.
A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in civil engineering, technical business administration, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field;
Experience with verification & validation, systems engineering, quality management, or requirements management is a plus;
Affinity with quality assurance, verification, and validation processes within complex infrastructural projects;
Interest in the connection between requirements, design, execution, testing, and delivery;
A structured and accurate way of working, combined with a pragmatic view of practical execution;
The ability to analyze large amounts of information, establish connections, and maintain an overview;
Familiarity with Relatics or similar information management systems is a plus;
Strong communication skills and the capacity to connect different disciplines;
A proactive attitude, analytical thinking skills, and the courage to ask follow-up questions when evidence or processes are incomplete.
