Cost engineer E&I

• Completed technical education such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar;

• Salary from € 4000.- to € 6000,- gross per 4 weeks (€ 4,333.- to € 6,500.- gross per month) based on full-time employment);

As a cost engineer in our Rotterdam office, you will prepare cost estimates for projects involving electrical, instrumentation, and/or HVAC components. These projects are often multidisciplinary, but sometimes also monodisciplinary. You ensure that estimates are technically accurate, market-conform, and align with the correct working methods.

You prepare cost calculations by collecting, analyzing, and processing quantities, material and equipment prices, man-hours, and subcontractor quotes. Depending on your experience, you will work increasingly independently and provide a well-founded contribution to realistic and competitive estimates.

You keep the documentation file up to date with rates, post-calculations, and experience data, so that insights from previous projects are utilized to improve future estimates. Additionally, you follow developments within the field and work according to the quality manual. In this way, you contribute to the quality of the work, the further optimization of processes, and the continuous development of the organization.
