Do you also want to become a Consultant Public Advisory at Baker Tilly? Read below to see if it suits you.
You will come to work within the Public Advisory practice of Baker Tilly. As a Consultant, you will start in a unique development program in which you will be trained to become the advisor of the future. You will get to know both the audit and advisory practices, thereby developing a strong foundation in financial processes, risk management, internal control, and public accountability.
In the first phase of your development, you will work closely with audit support teams within the public sector. You will support audit-related activities for municipalities, regional authorities, water boards, and other public organizations. In doing so, you will gain insight into the design and operation of financial processes, internal control measures, and relevant laws and regulations.
You will perform analyses, collect and assess information, and support the execution of controls on, among other things, subsidies, tenders, benefits, and other public cash flows. Additionally, you will learn to identify risks, establish connections between processes and figures, and record your findings clearly.
As your experience grows, you will increasingly participate in advisory assignments. You will support investigations, process improvements, risk analyses, and issues surrounding governance and legality. Here, you will get the opportunity to collaborate with experienced consultants and make a direct contribution to social organizations.
During the first months, you will receive intensive guidance from experienced colleagues and will be given plenty of room to develop both professionally and personally. Together, we will determine your growth path towards a role within the advisory practice, where you will receive increasing responsibility in client contact, project execution, and substantive advisory.
Fortunately, we are all different. Working at Baker Tilly means working for an employer that realizes our differences are exactly what make us stronger. Have we made you enthusiastic about this position, but are you still doubting if it fits you well enough? Then certainly contact one of our recruiters to calmly discuss your doubts and questions together. We would love to hear from you.
