An international salary payment affects someone's daily life. As a Senior Consultant International Payroll, you oversee what employers and employees need for workable agreements.
An employee goes to work abroad. What does that mean for payroll processing, wage taxes, and social security? You investigate the situation and ask follow-up questions regarding the agreements between employer and employee. In this way, you discover which obligations are at play and what is needed to set up international payroll correctly and practically.
As a Senior Consultant International Payroll, you independently handle more complex client inquiries. You bring together tax considerations, social security, and compliance into clear advice. Where specialist knowledge is required, you coordinate with colleagues from Global Mobility, wage taxes, and the international Baker Tilly network. You maintain control over your part of the assignment and ensure that the various insights come together in a solution that allows the client to move forward.
Later, you discuss a prepared piece of advice with a colleague. Is the employee's situation well understood? Are the consequences for payroll processing clear? You look along, ask deepening questions, and help to sharpen the advice. You also make complicated subject matter understandable for the client: you explain what needs to happen and help to make clear agreements for employer and employee. Your work revolves exclusively around international payroll issues.
You support clients with international payroll issues such as the 30% ruling, salary splits, and shadow payroll.
You coordinate international payroll processes and ensure that changes are processed accurately and on time.
You translate changes in (inter)national laws and regulations into clear, practical actions for clients.
You answer client questions and coordinate with pension funds, insurers, and international agencies.
You work closely with the Employment Advisory team to fully relieve clients of their concerns.
As a Senior Consultant international payroll, you will work within our Employment Advisory department. Here, you work together with specialists who view international employer questions from various angles. For your assignments, you might, for example, consult a Global Mobility colleague. This collaboration makes it interesting: you delve into international payroll and simultaneously see how your advice connects to other aspects of cross-border working.
