Urban Water Advisor

Salary indication: €4,800 - €7,000 (based on 40 hours)
Experience level: Senior (± 8 years or more)

As an urban water advisor, you are professionally leading and advisory in various projects. You work on both complex integral issues and smaller assignments, thereby building sustainable relationships with clients.

You:

• Advises municipalities, water boards, and developers on urban water and climate adaptation;

• Works integrally on issues surrounding sewerage and groundwater;

• Fulfills (sub)project leader roles with responsibility for planning, budget, and quality;

• Switches smoothly between large programs and smaller assignments;

• Works closely with fellow specialists and external parties.

Depending on your ambition, you can also fulfill a coaching role, contribute to knowledge development, and actively help build long-term client relationships.

• Hydrological model support Limburg Water Board;

• Shipdock Amsterdam (new residential and work area);

• Drainage plans Haarlem;

• Climate-resilient redesign Dijk en Waard;

• Urban Water system overview Nijkerk.

• Completed HBO or WO education (Civil Engineering, Water Management, Hydrology, or similar);

• 8 years or more of experience in urban water;

• Experience with or interest in tools such as Infoworks, SOBEK/D-Hydro, Tygron, and GIS;

• An independent working attitude, but actively seeks professional sparring and multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Professional deepening and broadening with experts in groundwater, soil, and foundations;

• Integral projects without silos;

• A flat organization with short lines;

• A close-knit team with attention to collaboration and atmosphere;

• Flexible working hours and locations (Holten, Nieuwegein, Amstelveen, or Eindhoven), including facilities for working from home;

• A market-conform salary (€4,800 - €7,000 excluding holiday allowance).
