Senior Environmental Law Advisor

Thanks to your knowledge and expertise in environmental law, you enable us, together with our clients, to realize a livable, accessible, and sustainable Netherlands!

• You apply your knowledge and experience to answer legal planning issues and to mentor junior planners within our team.

• You advise on the planning procedures to be followed in our projects and draft the necessary reports and documents.

• You guide our clients and colleagues regarding the implementation of the Environment Act.

As a senior environmental law advisor, you make area developments possible. For example, housing projects, new schools, industrial estates, or projects surrounding energy transition and sustainability. One time you work for a private client, the next for a developer, housing association, municipality, or ministry.

Another part of your work is helping municipalities transition to the Environment Act. You work on environmental plans and, together with colleagues, develop action plans, manuals, and course materials. You also provide training on the Environment Act, which involves translating legal theory into practical reality.

An enterprising senior advisor who gets enthusiastic about legally enabling a wide variety of integrated projects. You also bring:

• a completed HBO or WO degree in planning or law;

• at least 7 years of relevant work experience as a planner or legal professional;

• knowledge of the Environment Act.
