Geotechnical Advisor

• Depending on your experience, a salary between 4,200 and 8,000 (based on 40 hours per week, excluding holiday allowance);

As a geotechnics advisor at Aveco de Bondt, you work on the foundation of our living environment: the subsurface. You translate soil data, investigations, and design questions into smart and practical solutions for infrastructure, housing, area development, and flood defenses. In doing so, you make projects not only technically feasible but also future-proof.

You do not work in a niche, but rather in the full breadth of civil engineering practice. You are the connecting link between geotechnics, construction, and infra, and you actively contribute to integral design and execution.

Location: Nieuwegein and/or Amstelveen office
Salary indication: € 4,200 - € 8,000
Experience level: Medior/ Senior

You work together with colleagues on diverse projects for, among others, municipalities, water boards, housing associations, contractors, and developers. Think of housing locations, area developments, infrastructure projects, water safety, and complex urban challenges.

You will be involved in:

• Preparing and reviewing geotechnical advice;

• Requesting, supervising, and interpreting soil investigations and fieldwork;

• Performing geotechnical calculations and analyses;

• Translating research results into design and execution;

• Intensive collaboration with structural engineers, infra, and design teams within Aveco de Bondt;

• Coordination with external parties such as contractors, governments, etc.

Where at many geotechnical firms you are often deep in one specialty or type of work, at Aveco de Bondt you specifically choose breadth.

You are not just "the calculator of the subsurface," but a full-fledged advisor who:

You are a medior or senior geotechnics advisor with a background in civil engineering or geosciences (HBO or WO), for example TU Delft or similar. We are also open to career changers with a strong affinity for geotechnics.
