Maintenance Engineer Civil

• Your position

  As a Civil Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for the technical management and maintenance of civil assets. You work at the intersection of analysis, preparation and execution. In your role, you ensure well-substantiated maintenance plans, solid work preparation and a safe, high-quality execution of civil works. In doing so, you liaise intensively with internal stakeholders, executing parties, contractors and inspectors.

  Your impact

  In this role, you make a concrete contribution to the reliability and safety of civil installations and structures. Your duties include:

  • Drawing up, managing and optimizing maintenance plans for civil assets.

  • Analyzing inspection results and malfunctions and translating these into maintenance measures.

  • Initiating and implementing improvements aimed at reliability, safety and extending service life.

  • Preparing maintenance and repair work, including work descriptions, work packages and technical specifications.

  • Coordinating and supervising civil maintenance projects and ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.

  • Monitoring schedule, scope, costs and required resources, and assessing completed work.

  Team & work environment

  You work together with colleagues from different disciplines and have frequent contact with external executing parties and contractors. The collaboration is practical and results-oriented, with safety and quality always taking priority.   Your capabilities

  • A technical higher professional education (hbo).

  • Experience in maintenance engineering, work preparation or project coordination.

  • Knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines and inspection methodologies.

  • Experience with maintenance management systems is a plus.

  • Analytical ability and a structured way of working.

  • Organizational skills and planning strength.

  • A proactive and results-oriented attitude.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Safety awareness and an eye for quality.

  • Independence and decisiveness.

You are a practical and technically strong engineer with good analytical abilities. You feel comfortable in a role in which you carry both substantive and organizational responsibility. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, always keeping an eye on safety and quality.

• A technical HBO (higher professional education) degree.

• Experience with maintenance engineering, work preparation, or project coordination.

• Knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines, and inspection methodologies.

• Experience with maintenance management systems is a plus.

• Analytical ability and a structured way of working.
