Director of stable and safe production processes

As a Control Room Operator, you are the one who closely monitors and controls our production processes from the control room. You will work within the Operations department at the Foxhol location, where specialized industrial products are produced in rolling, extrusion, and MP factories.

You maintain continuous oversight, recognize disruptions early, and act quickly and thoughtfully. In doing so, you work closely with Field Operators and report to the Teamleader Operations.

  You maintain continuous oversight, recognize disruptions early, and act quickly and thoughtfully. In doing so, you work closely with Field Operators and report to the Teamleader Operations.

  Your impact

  In this role, you are crucial for stable, safe, and efficient production. Through your process insight, accuracy, and decisiveness, you minimize risks and ensure that production processes are continued or resumed responsibly.

  Your responsibilities include:

  • Operating and monitoring production processes to achieve established objectives

  • Timely recognition and analysis of (complex) disruptions and the prevention of escalations

  • Safe and responsible resumption of processes after malfunctions or transitions, in collaboration with Field Operators

  • Independently steering towards a stable output and minimizing process risks

  • Ensuring the correct operational condition of installations and equipment

  • Registering, checking, and analyzing production data in automated systems

  • Recording and explaining particulars in reports

  • Performing activities in accordance with requirements regarding safety, quality, and quantity

  Team & work environment

  You will work at the Foxhol production location, where potato starch is processed into high-quality industrial applications for sectors such as textiles, paper, and construction. Various departments work together at the location, such as Logistics, Improvement, QESH, and Maintenance.

  Your capabilities

  • A completed VAPRO C education or the willingness to follow it

  • Good command of process control and strong product and process knowledge

  • Experience with or interest in working with automated systems

  • Willingness to actively participate in multidisciplinary improvement teams

  • Affinity with safety and continuous improvement
