The role

As a line planner, you are the connecting link between customer demand and production. You work in a central department within the organization and ensure that production schedules align optimally with market demand, available capacity, and existing stock. You monitor product availability and ensure that customer orders can be delivered as agreed. In doing so, you continuously coordinate with various internal disciplines to find the right balance between capacity, material availability, and delivery reliability.     • Optimizing production schedules to achieve efficient and reliable execution.
    • Monitoring the timely availability of products so that customer orders can be delivered as agreed.
    • Coordinating with production, logistics, customer service and purchasing on capacity, materials and priorities.
    • Ensuring sufficient availability of raw materials and auxiliary materials.
    • Calling off the required raw materials and auxiliary materials in good time.
    • Identifying bottlenecks and contributing to solutions that support delivery reliability.

    • Good communication skills.
    • Good command of the Dutch language.
    • Good command of the English language.
    • Accuracy and a structured working style.
    • Experience with planning software and ERP systems, preferably SAP, is an advantage.
