What we're looking for

HBO level of work and thinking and relevant experience within learning & development, preferably in a large organization.
Experience with coordinating and safeguarding central (professional competence) policy and translating it into a cohesive learning offering.
Knowledge of learning platforms, e-learning tools, training methodologies, and learning technology.
Experience with data, monitoring, and effectiveness measurement: you know which information is needed when and how to use this for management and improvement.
Strong communicative and organizational skills. You know how to engage people, set priorities, and turn ideas into concrete results.
Experience with vendor management is a plus.

What you'll get

This position falls in scale 10, with a gross monthly salary between € 5,179.72 and € 6,906.29 (based on 36 hours per week).

The role

As a Business Learning Specialist at ASN Bank in Utrecht, you will provide direction for a cohesive, bank-wide learning offering. You will coordinate the implementation of the central professional competence policy, monitor quality, and ensure that the offering is efficient, effective, and attractive to all employees within the organization.

What will you do?
As a Business Learning Specialist within the Performance & Growth journey team of the People Experience Center, you are the director of learning and development at an organizational level. You translate the central professional competence policy into a cohesive learning offering that aligns with the needs of the business. In doing so, you manage prioritization: you determine which learning formats are necessary and appropriate, monitor the central scope, and ensure that the offering is accessible, effective, and attractive for all target groups.

What you'll do

You coordinate the implementation of the bank-wide professional competence policy and ensure its safeguarding within the organization. You work closely with management and Business HR to map out learning and development needs and translate them into a suitable, centrally managed learning offering.
You direct the prioritization of the learning offering. You determine which learning formats are necessary and appropriate, keep a sharp eye on the central scope, and ensure that the offering is efficient, scalable, and reusable for all target groups in the organization.
You advise on e-learnings, learning formats, tools, and training materials, based on the principle that solutions align with daily practice and contribute to the central policy objectives.
You ensure that new learning solutions are successfully implemented. You maintain an overview, monitor planning and quality, and ensure clear communication towards stakeholders.
You provide structural data and monitoring: you determine which information is needed at what time, monitor the effectiveness of the learning offering, and use insights to improve in a targeted manner.
You identify bottlenecks in offerings, processes, or systems and make proposals for targeted improvements from a central, coordinating perspective.
