As Program Manager AI at ASN Bank in Utrecht, you are the architect of our AI future. A role with strategic freedom, direct influence at the top, and a mission that goes beyond technology alone. You determine how one of the most progressive banks in the Netherlands deploys AI to make a real difference for customers, employees, and society.

What will you do?
As Program Manager AI at ASN Bank, you will tackle one of the most challenging and, at the same time, most meaningful assignments the financial sector currently has to offer: the responsible, safe, and strategic deployment of Artificial Intelligence within a bank that takes social impact seriously. You define the enterprise-wide AI strategy and ensure that AI is actually scaled up to broad business adoption. You report directly to the CIO, advise the entire Executive Board on AI opportunities, risks, and market developments, and represent ASN Bank in external AI forums and industry discussions. You are the point of contact for everything related to AI, both internally and externally. Your responsibilities are:

• You develop and manage a strategic AI roadmap across all business domains, effectively and responsibly stimulate AI use throughout the entire organization, and support business units in identifying, prioritizing, and scaling AI applications. You act as an executive sponsor for major AI initiatives and facilitate decision-making regarding strategic AI investments.
• You take full ownership of the enterprise AI Governance Framework: you safeguard standards, policies, and controls for the development, procurement, and deployment of AI, monitor the AI inventory, and establish effective AI incident management and reporting processes.
• You ensure compliance with the EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA, and relevant financial regulations. You formulate responsible AI principles, focused on fairness, transparency, privacy, and human oversight, and coordinate closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Security, and Internal Audit for this purpose.
• You monitor the AI portfolio and the associated KPIs and KRIs, report to the CIO, the ExBo, and risk committees, and continuously evaluate the business value and return on investment of AI initiatives.
• You develop and implement the AI knowledge strategy for the organization, set up role-oriented training and awareness programs, and build AI competencies across all functions. You ensure that the entire organization is ready for the AI-driven future.
