Role description:
As a project leader, you are the primary point of contact from Arcadis to the client. This requires excellent communication skills and technical expertise.

As a ''trusted advisor'' to the client, you are able to maintain and expand a long-term relationship with the client. Additionally, you are responsible for the effective internal management of a project team of specialists and designers. You lead the team on matters such as planning, budget, and risks. You are also the technical sounding board and ensure quality.

Within larger, complex integrated projects, you act as a sub-project leader for the civil part (often alongside a building or structural project leader). This applies both internally and externally towards the client. You link various disciplines together and see the cross-connections. In short, a job in which you deal with many different tasks that you perform efficiently and effectively, sometimes under necessary time pressure.

Urban Design Advisory Group
Your Urban Design advisory group utilizes a multidisciplinary approach; both in the public and private sectors, they ensure that urban developments are striking, economically efficient, and sustainable. This includes climate adaptation, the energy transition, and digital innovation. Clients include municipalities, provinces, developers, educational and healthcare institutions, and industry. Think of (re)development of locations in built-up areas, reconstructions of roads, expansion locations for business parks, or modifications of industrial sites. Working from composed project teams, including designers and specialists, work is done on initiating, designing, tendering, and supervising civil works. Additionally, Arcadis is at the forefront of digitalization, and you can hook into that and further develop yourself.

Qualifications & Experience:
We are looking for a Civil Engineering specialist, preferably with some work experience with a contractor or in execution. You possess good communication skills, with technical knowledge of Civil/Infra projects within urban areas. You take initiative, know where the opportunities lie, show ownership, and start new initiatives.
