Requirements

What we're looking for

HBO or WO education in IT or a comparable field;
At least 5 years of experience in IT, of which at least 2 years with Azure;
Experience with architectural design, cloud migrations, and enterprise infrastructures;
Knowledge of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, SQL, VNet, Defender for Cloud, Data Factory, and DevOps;
Experience with security, network architectures, account management, and lifecycle management;
A clear vision on IT architecture and cloud transformations;
Strong communication skills towards technical teams and business stakeholders;

Nice to have

Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are a plus;

Provide direction to our IT architecture and help build the digital foundation for the engineering consultancy of the future.

What you'll do

As an IT Architect, you design, realize, and monitor a future-proof IT and cloud architecture that aligns with our strategy and ambitions. You will work together with our current Architect on the foundation upon which our digital organization continues to grow. You will guide cloud and infrastructure projects and the deployment of Azure services. In doing so, you ensure that principles, policies, and architectural standards are clear and remain so. You map dependencies between applications, data, and infrastructure and translate them into clear architectural designs. You also advise on security, lifecycle management, and technical risks, and coordinate implementations and changes with internal teams and suppliers. In this way, you ensure that technology not only works, but also remains logical, secure, and scalable: today and tomorrow.

You will work closely with our IT Architect, our IT suppliers, and colleagues from the national developer community. Together, you will ensure that architectural choices align with what the organization needs. You will regularly interface with specialists, project leaders, and external partners to ensure technical projects land successfully. The culture at Antea Group is open and down-to-earth.
