IT Platform Architect - Integration Platform

• A completed IT-related education.
• Demonstrable experience (>5 yrs) as an IT Architect, Platform Architect, or a similar role.
• Professional command of the Dutch and English languages.
• Demonstrable experience with designing, implementing, and further developing integration platforms within complex hybrid and cloud-based IT landscapes.
• In-depth knowledge of integration architecture, API Management, Event Streaming, Messaging, and common integration patterns and standards.
• Experience with realizing secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions, including security standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, and TLS. Strong in translating business needs and architectural principles into future-proof integration solutions and architectural frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and create support within multidisciplinary teams.

Plus: Experience with TOGAF, ArchiMate, or similar architecture frameworks and experience within the energy sector.

For full-time employment, we offer you:

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period, based on 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 9: €4,816 to €9,472 gross per month with 8% holiday allowance and a 6% end-of-year bonus.

How do you keep the Netherlands running? As IT Platform Architect of the Integration Platform, you are responsible for developing, disseminating, and monitoring the architecture of the integration platform. You ensure that applications, systems, and data are connected securely, reliably, and in a future-proof manner, so that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy.

Additionally, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Act as a trusted advisor for internal and external stakeholders by providing direction to integration strategies, architectural choices, and technological developments within the integration domain.
• Design and further develop the Integration Platform by defining and implementing integration patterns, platform capabilities, processes, and standards that contribute to a scalable, secure, and future-proof application landscape.
• Safeguard architecture principles, standards, and governance by ensuring that integration solutions comply with architectural guidelines, security requirements, laws and regulations, and best practices.
• Coach and guide teams and stakeholders by actively sharing and applying knowledge about integration architecture, platform capabilities, and technical standards within projects and DevOps teams.
• Analyze platform performance and identify opportunities for improvement by translating data, trends, and developments into concrete optimizations that contribute to higher reliability, better performance, and lower operational costs.
