IT Platform Architect - Software Engineering Platform

• A completed IT-related education.
• Demonstrable experience (>5 years) as a T Architect, Platform Architect, or a comparable architecture role.
• Professional command of the Dutch and English languages.

With full-time employment, we offer you:

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period, based on 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 9: €4,816 to €9,472 gross per month with 8% holiday allowance and a 6% end-of-year bonus.

How do you keep the Netherlands powered? As an IT Platform Architect Software Engineering Platform, you are responsible for developing, communicating, and monitoring the architecture of the software engineering platform, so that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy. You will be working in the Domain Office team, consisting of 8 colleagues.

In addition, you are responsible for:

• Act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders within business and IT by providing direction to the architecture and further development of the Software Engineering Platform and by promoting a uniform platform strategy within TenneT.
• Develop and monitor the platform architecture by designing the various platform components and capabilities and ensuring that they work together as one integrated whole to support the software development chain.
• Translate enterprise architecture into actionable platform roadmaps by converting strategic objectives, architecture principles, and technical directions into concrete improvement initiatives and platform developments.
• Provide direction to the cohesion between architecture and platform teams by working closely with Enterprise Architects, IT Architects, and DevOps teams to ensure consistent architecture choices and implementations.
• Safeguard standards, governance, and best practices by overseeing compliance with architecture frameworks, security guidelines, compliance requirements, and software engineering standards within the platform landscape.
• Continuously improve the Software Engineering Platform by following market developments, analyzing platform performance, and initiating opportunities for innovation, standardization, and optimization.
