Are you that technician who loves working with fiber optics and gets energy from building the networks of the future? For the Fiber department, we are looking for a Field Engineer to join our team.
You start your day with a lot of freedom and your own van. One day you are busy with indoor activities: you pull cabling through an office building and professionally finish it at ISRA points and panels. You ensure everything is neatly laid out; delivering quality is your standard. The next day you are outside to perform splicing in a GCO (fiber optic splice closure) or you can be found in the telephone exchange for precise patching work.
The work doesn't always stop at five o'clock; you understand that a connection sometimes simply must be finished before the customer gets back to work the next morning. You don't have a 9-to-5 mentality and you find it no problem to get your hands dirty, for example if a handhole needs to be excavated to access the network.
