Traineeship KWS

Are you (nearly) graduated in Civil Engineering and ready to start your career? Do you want to discover where your talents lie and work at an organization that invests heavily in your development? At KWS Amsterdam-Utrecht, we offer a traineeship in which you, together with an experienced mentor, work purposefully on your future within Civil Engineering (GWW).

This traineeship is intended for starters with 0 to 3 years of work experience in Civil Engineering. Together with your mentor, you determine the direction of your development. You will gain experience within various disciplines, such as:

• Work preparation

• Execution

• Estimation

• Stakeholder management and design

By working in multiple roles and environments, you discover where your strengths and interests lie. In this way, you develop into a fully qualified professional within GWW and we build together on your further career within KWS and/or VolkerWessels. There is plenty of room for personal development and career growth.

The program lasts 2 to 3 years, depending on your wishes and interests. Additionally:

• You will work in different departments within the KWS AMS-UTR branch to see as many sides of our company as possible.

• You will be part of the Young Professionals group within KWS (quarterly project visits, knowledge sharing, and networking).

• You will follow an extensive course program including training from the VolkerWessels Academy.

• You can become a member of Jong VolkerWessels: a network of young professionals within VolkerWessels that organizes all kinds of interesting activities, such as project visits, workshops, and think tanks.
