You are accurate, organized, and maintain an overview even during busy periods. You switch easily between different tasks without losing sight of details. Because of this, colleagues, other departments, and customers alike know they can rely on you.

Furthermore:

Do you possess HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level supplemented with an HBO degree in the direction of business administration, logistics, or related fields;

Nice to have

Do you speak Dutch and English? A third language such as German, Polish, or Italian is a plus;
Available for at least 32 hours per week;
Basic knowledge of export documents/customs documents is a plus.

The role

Annually, Westfort processes 250,000 tons of pork, which we sell to regular customers in our three main markets: the Netherlands, Europe, and third countries. As Shipping Administrator Europe, you are responsible for the logistical process, administration, and after-sales of our European sales. You switch continuously between the customer, our sales representatives, planning, production, financial administration, and the carrier. You are therefore an indispensable linchpin who ensures that everything from sale to delivery runs smoothly.

What you'll do

Together with your colleagues, you support our sales representatives and ensure that all sales made outside the Netherlands are administratively processed and scheduled correctly. Furthermore, you will be involved in:

Overseeing the complete handling of sales orders and processing sales orders in the ERP system Fobis;
Maintaining contact with the sales, planning, production, administration, and shipping departments, so that all orders are handled correctly and timely;
Scheduling transports;
Overseeing and following up on price agreements made with carriers;
Maintaining telephone contact with customers and carriers.
