YOU WORK FOR WE®
As a Junior Project Coordinator Construction & Maintenance, you will be part of our Retail Operations team and be responsible for the daily coordination of maintenance and (re)construction projects within our stores in Europe. You are the first point of contact for maintenance requests and technical malfunctions and ensure that these are resolved quickly, efficiently, and within the established budgets. You work closely with the Manager Construction & Maintenance and liaise daily with our District Managers, Store Managers, external suppliers, and various departments at the head office, including Retail, Finance, and Real Estate. You assess incoming requests, set priorities, and engage the right suppliers. In doing so, you monitor progress, check the work performed, and ensure that our stores remain safe, representative, and operational.
In addition to solving daily issues, you also coordinate planned and preventive maintenance. You maintain an overview of the maintenance planning, monitor the associated costs, and actively contribute ideas for improvements and cost savings. You also handle the administrative processing, including checking time registrations, invoices, and maintenance-related appointments. And the best part: no two days are the same! One day you are coordinating an urgent malfunction in one of our stores, while the next day you are busy with maintenance planning, supplier appointments, or supporting international projects. With your solution-oriented attitude and organizational talent, you ensure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
- You have an affinity with technology, maintenance, and store layout and enjoy solving practical problems.
- You are organizationally strong, work accurately, and know how to set priorities well, even when multiple requests arrive simultaneously.
- You communicate easily with various stakeholders, are service-oriented, and take initiative independently.
- You have an eye for costs, think along about efficient solutions, and maintain an overview of the administrative processing.
