The role
_
- As a Retail Interior Architect, you will be part of our Retail Operations team. You are responsible for developing and elaborating practical improvements in our existing stores. This is not about designing completely new store concepts, but about smartly renewing and optimizing what is already there.
- WE Fashion works with three different store types. For these store types, you help develop concrete, standardized solutions that allow us to modernize our stores in an efficient and affordable way. Think of adjusting store layouts, renewing materials and finishes, improving fitting rooms, lighting, furniture, and other interior elements. You look critically at what can be retained, what needs to be improved, and how we can achieve maximum results with limited investments.
- You translate these improvements into concrete designs, technical drawings, material specifications, and actionable plans. You know which materials are suitable for intensive retail use, understand the technical possibilities, and take into account—and are involved in—maintenance, sustainability, costs, and practical execution.
- You can regularly be found in our stores to assess the existing situation, take measurements, identify areas for improvement, and check whether solutions work well in practice.
- You work closely with Construction & Maintenance, Visual Merchandising, Sales, and Real Estate. You also maintain contact with suppliers and executing parties regarding material choices, technical possibilities, quotes, and realization.
In short: you are someone who does not just sit behind a drawing board, but also practically guides the project and ensures that plans are actually executed.
