Then you fit perfectly at Gebr. Van Kessel Smits Neuchâtel. We will train you to become a specialist. Experience is not a must, motivation is! For more than 140 years, we have been supplying and processing high-quality, project-based flooring systems. Do you want to learn this specialty? Then a master craftsman is ready to train you to become a specialist.

Your base is Utrecht, but the projects are located throughout the country. Your day starts at 07:00 at the project location. You drive to the job in your own company van, with your music playing in the background. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the application of the best flooring systems in the construction and maritime sectors.

Today, you will tackle a parking garage together with 3 colleagues. After a cup of coffee and a briefing, you will get to work preparing the concrete substrate. Next, the first primer can be applied with a spatula so that a good base is laid. On top of this underlayer, you will apply and broadcast 3 other synthetic system layers over the coming days to create a sturdy and beautiful finish.

You will hear exactly what the schedule looks like soon from the site manager. Next week, you could be working on a large ship to coat a robust outer deck, applying an anti-static floor in a food factory, or working on a luxury yacht to give it the finishing touch with a beautiful synthetic resin floor. You, more than anyone, know how to conduct yourself toward the client and other companies you encounter at these different locations. Whether it is about preparing, mixing, applying, or finishing, you handle it.

Our master craftsmen stand beside you. They teach you the trade, such as products like epoxy and PU, celebrate successes with you, and give honest feedback when necessary. Everyone learns here by doing; perhaps you will become the master craftsman of a new specialist yourself later on!
