(Allround) Skilled Superyacht Painter | Amsterdam

In an ultra-modern dock hall and well-equipped workshops, we have space for yachts up to 160 meters, both new builds and refits. Through a mix of experience and innovative knowledge, we build the most beautiful and largest yachts here.

As an (allround) skilled yacht painter, you will make an important contribution to this. Because of you, the yacht looks beautiful inside and out. Your work also ensures good wood and metal preservation. Do you apply a perfect lacquer layer?

The Yacht Painters department ensures that the interior and exterior of superyachts being built at the shipyard are finished with a high-quality paint system and a sleek topcoat. The department consists of Foremen, Work Preparers, QC/QA employees, and (allround) skilled specialists.

As a Superyacht Painter, you deliver high-quality work. You are responsible for

• delivering sleek layers of putty and spraywork that meet "Feadship" specifications and quality standards.
• You spray, prime, putty, stain, lacquer, and topcoat at specific locations on board the yacht. You also work on assigned loose parts and furniture of the yacht.
• Being able to work independently within a team environment while monitoring the quality of the work.
• Supervising order, cleanliness, health and safety (Arbo), and security, and taking action where necessary.

• MBO 3 or 4 working and thinking level in a relevant education towards painting, industrial lacquer processor, coating specialist, or similar training.
• Knowledge and work experience in working with putty and performing high-quality spraywork.
• Relevant knowledge and work experience in working with various types of paint, techniques, and systems.
• An 'eye' for detail.
