At KWS @vice, you will work on tenders that matter, within a top-sport climate where you have maximum influence on strategy, team, and approach. You will lead large, integral projects from €50 million, ranging from civil engineering and hydraulic engineering to complex multidisciplinary works, together with a close-knit team of specialists. At KWS @vice, we look at tenders differently than the rest of the market. That mentality is reflected in how we have organized our tender organization. KWS @vice works with a central tender organization combined with a central knowledge and advisory bureau. With about one hundred colleagues—ranging from design to sustainability and from tender and EMVI management to maintenance & advisory—we build winning plans together. Our specialists work closely with the regional branches, where in-depth knowledge of the local market and our clients is present. This collaboration allows us to bundle expertise, maintain speed, and increase our striking power to win tenders.

In your role, you are responsible for projects starting from approximately fifty million euros across various disciplines. You work on construction, reconstruction, maintenance, and renovation within both the road and hydraulic engineering markets. Additionally, you focus on integral projects together with sister companies within VolkerWessels Infra, such as Vialis, VolkerRail, and Van Hattum & Blankevoort, when KWS is the lead contractor. In recent years, KWS @vice has been successful in, among others, Variable Maintenance South-Netherlands, the expansion of the RWG terminal, the framework agreement EU-367 for TenneT, the replacement of bridges and viaducts on the A44, and the recently acquired work for the realization of the RDW test track in Marknesse. At the same time, there are tenders we did not win, such as the N206, and there are great opportunities in the pipeline, including Schiphol plot 2 'aircraft parking positions', which is being put back on the market. That is precisely why we are looking for an experienced senior tendermanager who wants to continue making a difference with us.

As a senior tendermanager, you have real influence in this. You fulfill a key role in the composition of the tender team and in the establishment of the cost price. You determine how a tender is prepared and approached: you work within our processes, but you receive plenty of room to leave your own mark on the approach. That influence begins even before a tender enters the market; you build strong customer relationships and ensure the right partners are at the table before the tender starts.
