As Operations Manager, you are responsible for realizing an efficient and qualitatively excellent performing operation. You are a strong personality who brings out the best in your team through guidance and coordination. You can maintain an overview and make quick decisions under pressure. As a true People Manager, you derive energy from coaching your employees, further optimizing logistical processes, and facilitating various improvement projects. You are therefore often to be found on the shop floor, but you are at least as good at gaining insight into the figures behind all logistical activities, such as productivity and quality. Additionally, you know how to translate these into weekly performance reports. In this position, you are part of the on-site management team and you directly manage multiple Supervisors and indirectly +/- 160 employees. • You ensure optimal execution of the logistical services as per the requirements and agreements agreed upon with customers [B2B and B2C e-commerce].
• You coach day to day on people, quality, safety, productivity, costs, and inbound/outbound lead time.
• Continuously and proactively, you (together with your team) strive for further optimization of the logistical processes and you develop these further into plans. You coordinate these plans with the Site Manager and ensure that they are implemented.
• You are part of the on-site Management Team and together you safeguard the logistical flow of goods within this site in Tiel.

• You have at least a Bachelor's (HBO) level of work and thinking.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in logistical services, of which 3 years is recent and successful leadership experience in a similar working environment.
• You have a strong personality and you are analytically strong.
• You are a People Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• You are proactive and resourceful.
