What you will do
With our training, you will learn how to lay the foundation for large structures, noise barriers, bridges, tunnels, quay walls, and roads. Without concrete and foundations, there is no parking garage or bridge. That is why the men and women who create these concrete works of art are indispensable!
You will join us as an apprentice concrete carpenter. That means you learn the trade while you work. You will learn mainly in practice, and sometimes you will be in the classroom. In one year, you will obtain your MBO level 2 diploma, and you will receive regular pay during your training.

About Holland Scherm
Located 5 minutes from the center of Gouda, you will find the office of Holland Scherm. The atmosphere within our office is best described as familial with a healthy dose of ambition. Colleagues care a lot about each other and are happy to help one another whenever possible. The active staff association ensures that dinners are held regularly, but a padel tournament must not be missing either.
In addition to noise barriers, Holland Scherm has specialized in small-scale civil engineering concrete works and (urban) quay wall constructions. This varies from the foundation of masts, underpinning roundabouts, and liquid-tight floors in industry to bicycle tunnels and bridges. We advise, design, build, and maintain. Additionally, we provide complete project management, including coordination with stakeholders and local residents. We are therefore proud of our projects such as: replacement of noise barriers A10, maintenance contract Schiphol, N247 Maintenance passage Broek in Waterland, and Leidse Ring Noord.
