Concrete Carpenter

-Demonstrable experience as a carpenter in concrete works;

-Knowledge of and experience with building quay walls, quay scaffolding, and bridges;

-Solid craftsmanship and an eye for detail;

-Team player with good communication skills;

-You possess a valid driver's license;

-You possess a VCA diploma, or you are willing to obtain one;

-Flexibility and willingness to work in varying circumstances and at different locations.

• The salary for this position is the gross guaranteed wage according to job group D: € 3628.80 per 4-week period (based on 40 hours);

• In addition, you can count on a performance bonus per period, depending on your relevant work experience;

• On top of your salary comes a fixed amount Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (4.51% according to CAO Bouw & Infra);

• 48 leave days per year according to the CAO Bouw & Infra. The value of 18 of these days is deposited into the Time Savings Fund;

You are responsible for manufacturing, placing, and finishing concrete structures according to the highest quality standards. Whether it involves reinforcing quay walls, building scaffolding for quays to ensure safe working environments, or constructing durable bridges, you have the craftsmanship and expertise to make the project a success. Additionally, as a mentor, you share your knowledge and experience and contribute to the development of your close colleagues.

What will you do?

-Performing carpentry work for concrete structures such as quay walls, quay scaffolding, and bridges;

-Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications;

-Ensuring a safe working environment and complying with all safety regulations;

-Collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver projects within the set deadlines and budgets;

-Performing quality controls to ensure that the work meets the required standards;

-You act as a mentor and share your knowledge and experience, thereby contributing to the development of your close colleagues.
