BBL - Apprentice Technician

Have you just (or almost) finished school, do you love technology, and do you want to learn in practice? Then this position as a BBL-Apprentice Technician at Klein Poelhuis Technisch Beheer is for you. You combine working and learning: you go to school one or more days per week and work with experienced technicians for the rest of the week. This way, you truly learn the trade in practice and immediately build your future in technology.

As a BBL-Apprentice Technician, you will assist with various technical activities under the guidance of an experienced technician. You will learn step by step how installations are installed, modified, and maintained. This forms the basis for being able to effectively solve malfunctions later on. No two days are the same and you are never alone. This can involve both the Electrotechnical and the Mechanical sides of the industry. The activities take place at clients within healthcare complexes, commercial buildings, and light utility sectors.

Your duties include

• Assisting with assembly work on technical installations;

• Learning to read drawings and diagrams;

• Preparing work and materials;

• Assisting in the installation and modification of systems;

• Learning to work according to safety regulations;

• Performing tasks increasingly independently as you gain more experience.
