Requirements

What we're looking for

HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of working and thinking in the direction of, for example, quality management or Industrial Engineering;
Relevant training such as internal or external (lead) auditor, and certification in the field of lean/six sigma.
Knowledge of and experience with the ISO 9001 quality standard and managing the QMS;
You possess strong communication skills, are tactful, and know how to bring others along in quality improvements;
You are independent, analytically strong, and show initiative;
You work in a structured manner, are accurate, and have an innovative mindset;
You have mastered the Dutch and English languages in speech and writing.

The role

What you'll do

Developing Vekoma's quality policy further and promoting quality awareness within the organization, and devising initiatives to this end.
Safeguarding the operation of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001
- Performing internal quality audits and external audits at suppliers.
- Drafting and managing guidelines, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
- Instructing and supporting users of the QMS systems and acting as the first point of contact.
Identifying (legal) developments that influence the quality policy and advising on these.
Analyzing deviations in products or processes and initiating improvement actions, also in the area of customer satisfaction and complaints.

About the company & team

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be part of Vekoma's QESH team. Your direct colleagues are the other QA Officers, Quality Control Engineers, and the HSE Officer. You report to the Department Manager. You also work closely with colleagues from all divisions, including Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Production, and Parts & Services.

In the role of QA Officer, you work on the continuous improvement and safeguarding of quality within our organization. Together with your colleagues and the department manager, you develop the quality policy and translate this into clear guidelines, procedures, and work instructions. Together with your QA colleagues, you are the pivot in the management of the quality management system and stimulate quality awareness and improvement projects throughout the organization.
