Are you an enthusiastic student in a Finance-related field, such as Finance & Control, Business Economics, Accountancy, or (Business) Economics, and are you looking for a working internship where you can truly see how Finance works within an international organization? And do you want to gain experience in a dynamic production environment where every day is different?

For the upcoming academic year, we are looking for motivated interns within the Finance organization of Refresco Benelux! This can be within both Financial Control (Sittard) and Business Control (Maarheeze), depending on your interest and profile.

As a Finance Intern, you will work on concrete tasks and projects that align with your studies and development goals. In doing so, you will support — depending on your internship location and focus — one or more of the following activities within the department:

• Processing and checking financial administration (Financial Control)
• Supporting accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes (Financial Control)
• Assisting with month-end closures and financial reporting (Financial Control)
• Preparing and analyzing management reports (Business Control)
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (Business Control)
• Contributing to business cases and decision-making (Business Control)
• Identifying and improving processes and internal controls (both)
• Supporting audits and compliance issues (both)

Additionally, there is — particularly with a graduation internship — plenty of room to work on your own assignment, focused on current themes and projects within Finance. Think, for example, of topics such as internal control frameworks, process improvements, data analysis, and the use of AI.

• You are pursuing a HBO (University of Applied Sciences) or WO (Research University) degree in a Finance-related field
• You have strong analytical skills and are interested in numbers and processes
• You are accurate and maintain an overview
• You are proactive and have good communication skills
• You are able to work both independently and in a team
• You have a good command of the Dutch language

• A working or graduation internship in a modern Finance environment with attention to data analysis and AI
• Guidance by experienced Finance professionals
• Plenty of room for your own initiative and responsibility
• Working in an international production environment where Finance plays a central role
• Informal working atmosphere and short lines of communication
• An appropriate internship allowance

You will work in an international environment where a lot happens and where Finance plays a crucial role in daily operations and decision-making. You will see the direct results of your work, learn to switch gears quickly, and build a strong foundation for your financial career.
