The role

As Welding Team Leader, you will lead a team of approximately 15 skilled professionals within our combined welding and construction department. Your team works on both serial and unique products for various high-tech sectors. Think of complex machine frames and large constructions made of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Everything is produced according to strict quality standards. As team leader, you play a key role in improving processes, optimizing quality, and coaching your team members. Your tasks include:

• Drawing up and monitoring the schedule based on work instructions;
• Directing, coordinating, and controlling activities according to company procedures;
• Consulting with internal departments and production management regarding progress and improvements;
• Conducting performance and appraisal interviews;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and making proposals for process optimization;
• Collecting and analyzing data for quality improvement and reporting.
