The role

As a welder at VDL Staalservice, you will work on diverse steel products. This is because we specialize in sheet metal processing and welding assemblies for customers in various niche markets. We process metal assemblies in the broadest sense of the word: from the most common types of steel to high-grade armor steel. Therefore, there is no lack of challenge and variety in your work!

What you'll do

A selection from your package of tasks:

You will work independently on the pre-processing, assembly, welding, and finishing of parts/constructions.
You perform your activities correctly and safely based on welding drawings, WPSs, parts lists, and oral and written instructions.
You measure and inspect processed/manufactured parts and perform visual weld inspections.
You provide critical feedback on drawings of parts and welding assemblies. You have a crucial influence on the final result of the product.
