About the department
In the Netherlands' largest pipefitting facility, IHC Piping prefabricates all the ship and hydraulic piping required to make our vessels function. Additionally, we work for external customers, including projects with double-walled piping for hydrogen. Work is performed with both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

For our production facility in Sliedrecht, we are looking for an experienced and motivated pipe welder to strengthen our team.

What you'll do

What will you do?
As a Pipe Welder, you are responsible for welding (ship) piping according to specifications within our pipe shop.

You primarily perform TIG welding (steel), supplemented with MIG/MAG welding
You work with various materials such as steel, stainless steel, cupronickel, duplex, and super duplex (primarily TIG)
You weld various joints, such as butt, flange, brazing, fillet, and lap joints
You work in a team of approximately six welders, managed by a supervisor
You work closely with pipefitters, operators, and logistics employees within production
