What we're looking for

Your strengths:

You are a skilled welder who holds quality in high regard and enjoys working on high-quality technical products. You have an accurate way of working, think practically, and know how to independently achieve an excellent final result.

In addition, you possess:

A completed MBO education level 3 or higher within a technical or metal-related field.
Demonstrable experience with structural work and the manufacturing of welded assemblies.
Valid certifications for MIG/MAG and/or TIG welding processes, preferably at an advanced level.
Knowledge of various types of metal and experience with processing sheet metal structures.
The ability to interpret technical drawings and independently assemble products.
A proactive attitude and an eye for detail during all phases of the production process.

The role

What will you do?

Are you an experienced welder who loves precision work and technical challenges? Within VDL ETG Almelo, you will get the opportunity to help build high-quality structures that are used in the most advanced technological systems in the world. You will make a direct contribution to the production of essential components for, among others, the semiconductor industry.

In this position, you will be involved in manufacturing complex duplex frames and structural parts. You will work according to the highest quality standards and make use of modern production techniques and advanced equipment. Our modern production location in Almelo features an extensive machine park with which you will work every day on unique and technically challenging projects.

What you'll do

Producing and welding high-quality duplex structures based on technical drawings.
Performing specialist welding activities where accuracy and quality are central.
Checking dimensions and correcting any deviations during the production process.
Contributing to an efficient way of working within a modern production environment.
Working on new products and innovative projects in collaboration with various departments.
Ensuring a final result that meets the strict requirements of international customers.
