International Sales Manager

• A salary between € 60,000 and € 90,000 gross per year, depending on knowledge and experience

The role

As International Sales Manager, you are responsible for the sale of our vertical packaging machines and complete packaging lines within an international sales territory. Based on your experience and ambitions, we will jointly determine the markets and accounts for which you will be responsible. You will maintain existing customer relationships, develop new business, and work closely with agents and distributors. You will advise customers on suitable packaging solutions, guide the commercial process from lead to order, and play an important role in the further growth of VDL Packaging. Additionally, you will contribute ideas regarding market developments, product innovations, and the future of our portfolio.

Your responsibilities

• Expanding existing customer relationships and realizing new business;
• Developing new markets, customers, and application areas;
• Managing and supporting international agents and distributors; 6 Identifying market developments, commercial opportunities, new customers, and markets;
• Identifying market developments, commercial opportunities, new customers and markets;
• Preparing and monitoring forecasts and pipeline;
• Contributing to the development of the portfolio in collaboration with colleagues from engineering, service, marketing, and sales support.
