Business Development Manager Transport & Logistics

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, obtained through education or experience.
• Preferably approximately 3 years of experience in a commercial B2B role within business services.
• Experience with new business/sales and building a commercial pipeline with demonstrable commercial results.
• Affinity with the Transport & Logistics sector is a plus.
• Experience within the security industry is a plus.
• Digitally proficient and able to quickly master systems such as SAP and CRM applications.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
• Residing in the Eindhoven/Limburg region or willing to be active there for the majority of your work week.
• In possession of a B driver's license.

• A salary between € 4,179.00 and € 5,970.00 per month. Depending on age, experience, and education.
• Available at least 32 hours per week.

As Business Development Manager Transport & Logistics, you are responsible for realizing new business within one of Securitas' most important growth sectors. You actively build your network, develop yourself into a sector specialist, and help organizations with innovative security solutions. In this role, you are responsible for the entire commercial process: from identifying opportunities and approaching prospects to closing the deal. You focus on medium and large organizations within the Transport & Logistics sector and translate customer needs into suitable security solutions.

The focus as Business Development Manager lies entirely on new business. You independently build a strong sales funnel, develop sustainable relationships with prospects, and create new commercial opportunities. After winning a contract, you hand the customer over to the responsible colleagues in operations or account management, so that you can continue to focus on acquisition and thereby realize growth.

You are challenged to develop into the specialist within the Transport & Logistics sector. You delve into market developments, visit industry events, and actively build your network. In this way, you position yourself as a Business Development Manager for Securitas and as an important knowledge partner within the sector.

Together with your colleagues from sales and bid management, you sell the full Securitas portfolio, supported by the marketing & communications department. In doing so, you combine commercial insight with entrepreneurship and actively contribute to the further growth and development of  Securitas.

You get energy from acquiring new customers, build relationships easily, and like to take the initiative. Additionally, you are curious, commercially driven, and know how to realize new business with persuasiveness.
