Holland Malt is one of the larger maltsters in Europe and, with the Eemshaven location, even possesses one of the largest production units in the world. Additionally, we have the ambition to fulfill an even more important position in the malting world in the coming years. As International Purchasing & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the procurement of our brewing barley and the sale of a portion of our malt. Both activities take place within a strongly international framework.
Brewing barley is part of the global grain complex and, as such, pricing is highly related to—and influenced by—raw materials in a general sense. As International Purchasing & Sales Manager, you know how to fathom these influences, communicate them to the organization, and translate them into a procurement policy. The raw materials market is very volatile and constantly searching for equilibrium; at the right moments, you know how to convert an analysis into active procurement.
In your role as International Purchasing & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for further expanding turnover with existing relationships.
Additionally, you will perform market analyses and map out future business opportunities in order to subsequently convert these successfully into results yourself.
The International Purchasing & Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales & Procurement.
