Mechanical Engineering Estimator

As a mechanical engineering estimator, you will get the chance to put your own spin on the design of the pricing process. Together with your colleagues, you will design work processes. Dura Vermeer Techniek is looking for an experienced estimator in Utrecht.

• You prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical engineering installations in non-residential projects. You work with current market information and technical data;

• You actively contribute to the collection and analysis of historical data from completed projects. This ensures that future estimates become increasingly precise;

• You optimize your projects financially and technically, together with technical developers and colleagues. You look for efficiency improvements and cost savings without loss of quality;

• You work together with the tender manager to submit complete and competitive tender files. You handle all financial and estimating components.

As a mechanical engineering estimator, you are the financial conscience for the mechanical engineering disciplines. You hold ultimate responsibility for accurate cost estimates and actively contribute to the collection of historical data, so that our estimates become even more precise. You make use of your network and know the market players within non-residential construction well.

You will primarily work on projects where Dura Vermeer Techniek can truly make a difference - not on standard specification works, but on innovative integrated projects. In this role, you will work closely with your team.

You are open to exploring the boundaries of digitizing the design and estimation process together with colleagues. This not only makes your work more efficient but also enables you to focus on the aspects that truly matter in cost formation.

Your location is Utrecht, with a hybrid working arrangement. You will work on challenging installation technology projects in non-residential construction. The team has an extraordinary interest in new technologies and innovative solutions.

•  You have demonstrable experience as an estimator within the mechanical engineering discipline;

• You are used to working integrally with colleagues in multidisciplinary environments;

• A good salary between €3961 and €5694 per 4-week period, depending on your knowledge and experience in the role.
