Electrical Engineering Estimator

As an electrical engineering estimator, you will get the chance to put your own spin on the design of the pricing process. Together with your colleagues, you will design work processes. Dura Vermeer Techniek is looking for an experienced estimator in Utrecht.

• You prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical installations in utility projects. You work with current market information and technical data;

• You actively contribute to the collection and analysis of historical data from completed projects. This ensures that future estimates become increasingly precise;

• You optimize your projects financially and technically, together with technical developers and colleagues. You look for efficiency improvements and cost savings without loss of quality;

• You work together with the tender manager to submit complete and competitive tender files. You handle all financial and estimating components;

As an electrical engineering estimator, you are the financial conscience for the electrical engineering disciplines. You hold ultimate responsibility for accurate cost estimates and actively contribute to experience figures, so that our estimates become even more precise. You make use of your network and know the market players within utility construction well.

You will primarily work on projects where Dura Vermeer Techniek can truly make a difference - not on standard specification works, but on innovative integrated projects. In this role, you will work closely with your team.

You are open to exploring the boundaries of digitizing the design and estimation process together with colleagues. This not only makes your work more efficient but also enables you to focus on the aspects that truly matter in cost formation.

This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic team of experienced professionals. The team consists mainly of experienced technicians who want to be more challenged and involved in the planning of construction and infrastructure projects.

Your location is Utrecht, with a hybrid working arrangement. You will work on challenging installation technology projects in non-residential construction. The team has an extraordinary interest in new technologies and innovative solutions.

•  You have demonstrable experience as an estimator within the electrical engineering discipline;

• The salary for this position is between €3302 and €4747 gross per period* (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.
