Service & Maintenance Manager in the Netherlands

At Klein Poelhuis Technisch Beheer, we are looking for an experienced Service & Maintenance Manager who will take responsibility for the further development of our service and maintenance organization. You know better than anyone what is required to organize service and maintenance well, both technically and organizationally. At the same time, you look ahead: you see commercial opportunities, expand relationships, and know how to successfully secure new projects and maintenance contracts.

This is a new role within our organization. That means you will not only be responsible for the daily operations but will also be given the space to help build the direction, structure, and growth of our service and maintenance division.

As Service & Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for the daily management and the further professionalization of our service and maintenance activities. You ensure that customers can rely on reliable service, that work is organized efficiently, and that our technical staff are deployed optimally.

You are visible within the organization and at the same time keep an eye on the market. You actively maintain contact with existing clients, understand their technical issues, and know how to translate these into concrete solutions. From those relationships, you recognize commercial opportunities and ensure that new service, maintenance, and renovation projects are taken on.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Managing and further developing the service and maintenance organization;

• Coordinating and monitoring service, maintenance, and management activities;

• Leading and coaching employees within the service and maintenance teams;

• Monitoring quality, planning, yield, and customer satisfaction;

• Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients;

• Identifying commercial opportunities and actively contributing to securing new assignments;

• Thinking along about maintenance contracts, renovations, and technical improvements;

• Collaborating with colleagues within projects, engineering, work preparation, and execution;

• Further professionalizing processes, working methods, and service delivery;

• Providing hands-on assistance where necessary.

You are an experienced professional with a solid background in service and maintenance within installation technology. You know the practice, understand what customers expect, and know how to make a service and maintenance organization function effectively. At the same time, you have a commercial mindset and gain energy from expanding customer relationships and creating new business.

• In addition, you possess:

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) level of work and thought, preferably in a technical direction;

• Demonstrable experience within service, maintenance, and/or technical management of installations;

• Experience in managing employees and organizing service and maintenance activities;

• Good commercial insight and the drive to secure new assignments and projects;

• Strong technical and organizational insight;

• An entrepreneurial, result-oriented, and decisive attitude;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to switch easily between customer, technology, and organization;

• A great sense of responsibility and the ambition to further build out an organizational component.
