Manager Operations & Maintenance

You are a connecting leader who knows how to bring people along in change. You combine organizational sensitivity with decisiveness and are able to operate at both strategic and tactical levels. Additionally, you bring:

• A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in a technical, business administration, or similar field.
• Extensive experience in a leadership position within a technical or operational environment.
• Experience with asset management, maintenance organizations, or infrastructure is a strong plus.
• Demonstrable experience with change processes, team development, and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication skills and a coaching leadership style.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period, based on 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 18, maximum up to €X 11,156 per month (at 40 hours), with annual bonuses and a pension contribution of 70%.

Manager Maintenance & Operations South Region Help build a reliable energy supply for over 43 million people

The energy transition is in full swing. As Manager Maintenance & Operations South Region, you will lead a crucial part of our high-voltage grid. You ensure that our assets continue to function safely, reliably, and in a future-proof manner. With your leadership, you will direct a team of specialists and contribute directly to the security of electricity supply in the Netherlands.

As Manager Maintenance & Operations, you are responsible for managing the maintenance and operations activities within the South region. You lead a team of approximately 20 to 30 professionals and are responsible for the performance, development, and sustainable employability of your employees. You translate TenneT's strategic objectives into concrete operational plans and ensure optimal cooperation between different disciplines. In doing so, you create a safe working environment in which ownership, continuous improvement, and result-orientation are central. Your main responsibilities are:

• Leading and developing the Maintenance & Operations team.
• Being responsible for the execution of maintenance programs, inspections, and fault repairs.
• Monitoring safety, quality, performance, planning, and budget.
• Translating national strategy into regional execution.
• Stimulating cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributing to further professionalization and optimization of processes.
• Ensuring a future-proof organization that is ready for the growing demand resulting from the energy transition.
