The role

As Technical Manager Management & Maintenance, you are the technical backbone within a multi-year maintenance contract. You represent technology within the IPM team, ensure the quality of the assets, and provide direction to maintenance regimes. Based on asset data, you advise the client and assess changes and deliverables. At the same time, you manage the technical team and monitor risks, safety, and cybersecurity.

What you'll do

Ensure the technical quality and integrity of the assets throughout the contract period
Represent technology in the IPM team alongside the Project Manager, Contract Manager, Environmental Manager, Project Control Manager, and Maintenance Manager
Advise the client based on asset data regarding condition, failure mechanisms, remaining useful life, and input for the multi-year maintenance planning
Substantiate and further develop maintenance regimes and lead the joint evaluation and optimization round with the client
Assess proposals for change (VTWs) and startup and handover dossiers in terms of content
Monitor execution risk and technical integrity and interpret and mitigate asset risk together with the client
Ensure integral safety and cybersecurity on industrial systems (IEC 62443, NIS2)
Verify and validate technical deliverables
Manage, coach, and develop the technical team

What do you bring?

You have a completed HBO or WO degree in a technical field
You have at least 5 years of experience in technical management on critical infrastructure
You are familiar with modern maintenance contract forms (Basic Maintenance Contract, performance contract, DBFM, framework agreements)
You are familiar with the RWS approach Samenwerken In Onderhoud (SIO)
You work at an ISO 55001 level in asset management
You work in a data-driven manner, feel at home in an IPM environment, and bridge the gap between technology, contract, and client
You keep a sharp eye on what falls within and outside the contract scope
